The agreement that applies when you use the Hearthward website or engage our services.

Please read these terms carefully before using this website or engaging Hearthward's services. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Definitions

  • "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with any service confirmation we send you.
  • "We / Us / Our" means Hearthward, operating from 240 Phaholyothin Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900, Thailand.
  • "You / User" means any person who visits our website or engages our services.
  • "Services" means the family communication support, document organisation, and family coordination services described on this website.
  • "Content" means all text, images, materials, and resources on this website.
  • "Session Materials" means printed guides, checklists, folders, plans, or briefing sheets provided as part of a service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or booking any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the capacity to enter into this agreement, and accept these terms in full.

If you are booking on behalf of a household or group, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

3. Service Description

Hearthward provides family communication and organisational support services in Bangkok, Thailand. Our three current services are:

  • Family Conversation Preparation — a 90-minute educational session with a printed conversation guide (฿4,000).
  • Document Organisation Workshop — a half-day small-group workshop with printed checklists and folders (฿14,300).
  • Family Coordination & Briefing Package — a structured package of 2–3 meetings with a written coordination plan and family briefing sheet (฿32,300).

All services are educational and organisational in nature. They do not constitute legal, financial, psychological, or any other form of professional advice. We may refer you to appropriate official or professional resources where formal guidance is needed.

Services are available to clients in Bangkok, Thailand. We reserve the right to decline an enquiry at our discretion.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using our website or services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making an enquiry or booking.
  • Attend or participate in sessions at the agreed time; give us reasonable notice if you need to reschedule.
  • Use our website and materials for personal, non-commercial, lawful purposes only.
  • Not reproduce, distribute, or sell our session materials or website content without written permission.
  • Not attempt to interfere with the security or operation of our website.
  • Treat our staff and any other participants with respect and courtesy throughout your engagement with us.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, and session materials — is owned by or licensed to Hearthward and is protected under applicable Thai intellectual property law.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and use this website and any session materials for your own household purposes. This licence does not permit commercial use, republication, or distribution.

Any feedback or suggestions you share with us may be used by us to improve our services; you will not be entitled to compensation for such use.

6. Fees & Payments

  • Service fees are as stated on our website and confirmed in writing at the time of booking. All fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and include applicable VAT.
  • Payment details and timing will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.
  • If you need to cancel more than 48 hours before a scheduled session, we will discuss rescheduling or a credit note. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund or credit.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule due to circumstances on our side, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a full alternative or refund.

7. Service Delivery Terms

  • Sessions are delivered in English. Please let us know in advance if you require Thai-language support and we will do our best to assist.
  • The scope of each service is as described on our website. Any requests to extend or alter the scope will be discussed and agreed separately.
  • Session materials are provided for your household's personal use and are not transferable.
  • We keep brief organisational notes from sessions to allow continuity if you engage us for a follow-up service. These notes are held in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We may, at our discretion, suggest official or professional resources. Any decision to engage a third party is yours alone; we have no responsibility for third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are educational and organisational in nature. Nothing we say, write, or provide constitutes legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. We do not represent that any particular outcome will result from engaging our services.

This website and its content are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take care to keep information accurate and current, we make no representations about the completeness or suitability of the content for any particular purpose.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites linked from our site.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Hearthward's total liability to you arising from or related to any service or use of this website will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant service.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services, including decisions you make based on information or materials we provide.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Hearthward harmless from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our services or website, or any false or misleading information you provide to us.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service engagement by giving written notice. If you wish to end an engagement, any fees for work already carried out may be due; we will discuss this with you fairly.

We may suspend or end your access to our website if you breach these terms. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally and amicably.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with any written service confirmation, form the entire agreement between us regarding your use of our services.
  • Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our obligations to another entity in the event of a business transfer.
  • Notices. Formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to our address.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. For material changes, we will post a notice on our homepage. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
