Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, why we use them, and how to manage your choices.

Last updated: 12 May 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit. They help the site remember things — such as your preferences — so it works better for you on future visits.

Cookies do not run programs or deliver viruses. They are simply small data files. You have full control over them and can manage or remove them at any time via your browser settings.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies Always active

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They manage your cookie consent choice and ensure basic site security. They cannot be disabled.

Required

cookieConsent — stores your cookie preferences · expires 12 months · localStorage

Analytics Cookies Optional

These help us understand how visitors use our site — which pages are visited and how long people spend on them. This helps us make the site more useful. Data is anonymised.

_ga, _gid — Google Analytics · session and 2 years · third-party

Marketing Cookies Optional

These allow us to understand whether visitors reached our website via an external advertisement and to show relevant information. We use these sparingly.

_gcl_au — Google Ads conversion · 90 days · third-party

Preference Cookies Optional

These remember your settings — such as language — so you do not have to re-enter them each visit.

lang_pref — language choice · 12 months · first-party

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some optional cookies are set by third-party services. We have no direct control over these cookies; they are governed by the privacy policies of their respective providers:

4. Cookie Duration

Cookies fall into two main types by duration:

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser tab is open and are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device until their expiry date or until you delete them. Durations vary by purpose (see section 2 above).

5. Your Cookie Preferences

Use the controls below to choose which optional cookies you are happy for us to use. Your choices are saved to your browser. You can change them at any time.
